Wyoming Armory offers a three-day inspection period starting from the delivery date to the buyer on consignment firearms and parts sales. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, notify us and return the item undamaged and unmodified for a full refund (less shipping and insurance costs). This does not apply to custom ordered firearms builds although we fully warrant them for any production defects and will promptly fix the defect at our expense.
Shipping will be by USPS, usually Priority Mail, or by UPS in accordance with current Federal Laws, USPS regulations and the laws of the customer's state of residence. Federal Express shipping of firearms is not available in Cody.
California residents purchasing a firearm which must be transfered to a registered FFL, must go through the CFLC program. We are sorry but we must then add an additional charge of $50.00 per transfer.
Wyoming Armory will accept quality consignments. All consignments are paid promptly. A sales commission is deducted from payments after the return period has passed. Your confidence and satisfaction are guaranteed. Consignment returns subject to N.I.C.S. regulations.
Wyoming Armory is always interested in purchasing fine firearms. We offer appraisals and estate services. Our staff of experts is also available for insurance estimates or other firearms needs and consultation. Please contact us for further details.
When you are ready to ship your firearm or parts, please make sure you have tracking and signature required. If you are shipping a firearm, please use the adult signature required option.
Our options to ship back to you are either the Post Office or UPS. FedEx isn’t an option; we do NOT have a shipping account with them.
If your firearm was manufactured before January 1st of 1899, it is an antique and by federal law it is not considered a firearm. Therefore, the firearm shipping standard does not apply to these items.
If you ship through your FFL, have them email us requesting a copy of our FFL at wyomingarmory@outlook.com
Handguns and Frames: Individuals that are not FFL are NOT legally allowed to ship hand guns through the Post Office. Your options are to either ship through your local FFL or try shipping through UPS or FedEx. If you are able to ship by UPS or FedEx you might have to ship Next Day Air which is expensive. We can ship your handgun back to you by UPS Next Day Air.
Long Guns: Federal Law allows individuals to ship long guns through the Post Office for work to be completed by an FFL. However, we have heard stories that some individuals have taken their long gun or parts to the Post Office and they have refused to ship the items. If your local Post Office won’t ship your long gun or parts, we recommend you contact your Congressional Representative. We can ship your long gun directly back to you through the Post Office or UPS.
If you wish to pay with a credit or debit card we will charge an additional 3% transaction fee. If your project is small (just color case harden or blue) and you want to decrease the transaction fee you can send a check for the cost of the finish work and then pay for shipping with your card.
When we receive your firearm or parts, we will email you. We will email you again one we have created your estimate for work to be completed. This email allows you to verify that our estimate includes everything you are looking for us to do.
For firearms being shipped in for evaluation and/or repair we have a minimum shop charge of $200.
