A beautiful No. 6 Ballard Schuetzen in .38-55. Engraved receiver with deer and bear, excellent bore, checkered wood, horn fore end cap, scope blocks and correct Ballard sights. Barrel is heavy weight, half-round 32" long and has correct rear sight slot. Buttstock is vintage custom job, most likely by Joseph Singer of California. Singer was a contemporary of Harry Pope.
