Very early 3-digit SN696 Winchester 1873 with set trigger. Marked "W.C. CO" (Western Costume Company) in four places. An early prop rental for the motion picture industry likely used for movie making. This rifle is in solid condition but was refinished in a dull matte finish in the distant past. It has a very good but frosted 5 grove bore. Functions and shoots correctly and has been featured and fired on an episode of "The Cinnabar" YouTube channel.
